Please take the time to read through these terms and conditions the “Terms”. Terms will apply to your use of our website and iOS and Android app, as well as the use of our services and products.
Kleen hubs' mission is to eliminate single-use packaging in the food and beverage sector. We provide a way for the user ("the Customer") to get his or her food in so-called reusable kleen hub boxes or their beverages in reusable kleen hub coffee cups ("Products") from our partner Restaurants, Cafes or other partners (“Partners”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any borrowing and returning (“Orders”) of our Products made through our Apps (“Platform”).
When placing a “BORROW” or “RETURN” Order through our iOS and Android Apps (“Platform”), the Customer confirms these Terms and the Customer is obliged to read the Terms thoroughly before the Customer places an order via the Platform.
2. Our Reusable Concept
The Products are made available to rent through the Platform and the Customer may lend the Products by placing an Order at our Partners.
The Products are borrowed by the Customer when kleen hub confirms this through a Borrow Confirmation (as defined below).
When a Customer orders a Product and the partner accept the borrowing process, the Customer undertakes to be present at our Partners at the time of collection (as defined below) of the Products, while the partner undertakes to offer the Products for borrowing as specified. Both parties have the right of cancellation as defined below.
Kleen hub is solely responsible for arranging the lending of the Products through the Platform on behalf of a Partner, and there is no contractual relationship between kleen hub and the Customer with respect to the food or beverage in the Products or the sale of Products related to the Partners. Kleen hub has no responsibility for the food or beverage or the fulfilment of the agreement between the Partners and the Customer.
3. Acceptance of the Terms
These terms are entered into by and between you and please feel free to send an email to email@example.com if you’d like to find out anything more about us. By accessing or using our Services, you accept to be bound and abide by these Terms.
When renting a kleen hub container via through our Platform, the Customer confirms:
to be legally able to enter into binding agreements,
that the use of the Platform alone occur as part of a personal non-business purpose, and
to be at least 18 years of age and to hold a valid debit, credit card or other forms of payment available for payment through the Platform.
The Customer accepts that all agreements between the Customer and kleen hub will be stored by kleen hub for a period of 5 years.
By accessing the website at www.kleenhub.com and all its subpages, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
By accepting these Terms, the Customer further agrees to receive emails and text messages related to any order placed by the Customer. This is required to ensure that the Customer receives all significant notices related to his or her rental.
Kleen hub reserves the right to revise and change the Terms from time to time. The Customer's order is subject to the Terms that apply at the time the Customer placed the order.
4. Products and Product Information
Kleen hub's role is solely to provide food and beverage containers to our Partners and their Customers, and kleen hub has no responsibility with regard to the food or beverages or the fulfilment of the contract between the Partners and the Customer.
Kleen hub does not manufacture, sell, buy, store, prepare, process, label, package, deliver or handle the food or beverages in any way. Kleen hub is not responsible for the fulfilment of the contractual obligations to the Customer regarding the food or beverages, including the manufacture, sale, purchase, storage, preparation, production, processing, labelling, delivery, quality, ingredients, allergens or handling of the food or beverages, and compliance with the food or beverages.
It is the Partners who are responsible for providing information about the food and beverages and for ensuring that they are in fact accurate and up-to-date. Kleen hub assumes no such responsibility and is therefore not responsible for the content or availability of information about the food or beverages.
If the Customer has any doubts about allergy warnings, the contents of a serving or other menu information, the Customer must clear his doubts directly with the Partner before using our Service. All food or beverages packaged through the kleen hub App must be consumed immediately after collection. Kleen hub assumes no liability whatsoever for the foods or beverages impact on the Customer.
Kleen hub shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in the performance of any obligations relating to the food or beverages, including concerning the manufacture, sale, purchase, storage, preparation, production, processing, labelling, delivery, quality, ingredients, allergens or handling of the food or beverages.
5. Kleen hub Accounts, Passwords and Security
In order to access our Services, you need to create an account. When opening your kleen hub account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information you hold for your account, including your password, and for any and all activity that occurs under your account as a result of your failure to keep this information secure and confidential.

Our kleen hub boxes or cups must be picked up by the Customer at the specified Partners. Partner descriptions and details of when and where the meals or drinks can be picked up appear not on our App. Upon pickup, the Customer must Scan the associated red “BORROW” card and enter the number of boxes or cups and show his/her checkout confirmation in the kleen hub application to the Partner's employees. After showing the receipt the Customer gets their food or beverages in the borrowed kleen hub boxes or cups. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the Borrow Confirmation in the application can be displayed to the Partner employees. The Customer is obliged to ensure that the number of received boxes or cups match the number of boxes or cups correspond to the Customer's checkout in the kleen hub app.
For the return, the Customer must scan the associated green “RETURN” card and enter the number of boxes or cups he/she want to return. After swiping the Consumer is obliged to show the return confirmation in the kleen hub application to the Partner's employees. After showing the receipt the Customer returns the borrowed kleen hub boxes or cups to the partner employees. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the Borrow Confirmation in the application can be displayed to the partner employees. The Customer is obliged to ensure that the amount of returned boxes or cups match the number of boxes or cups correspond to the Customer's return in the kleen hub app.
All prices are quoted in the currency of the country in which the partner is located and include applicable VAT, but may be exclusive if applicable. online payment management fees, unless otherwise stated.
If the box or cup is not returned after 10 days (240 hours) the Consumer will get billed 100 DKK for each not returned box and 150 DKK for each not returned cup. Kleen hub automatically will collect the amount from the saved payment method and remove the boxes from the Customer account after a successful transaction.
The customer can pay by debit and credit card as well as other payment methods made available through the App. If a debit card is used, the Customer must enter his card number, expiry date and security code when placing a Borrow Order. Alternatively, the customer can enter its credit card information through a third-party platform such as Apple Pay or GPay. Kleen hub may change, adjust, or restructure the payment procedure for its Customers as kleen hub deems reasonable.
The platform uses PCI-compliant payment service providers. Payment by debit or credit card on the App is secure and certified by the card issuer. All payments are made via an encrypted Internet connection. Kleen hub does not store any debit or credit card information. Such information is handled by payment service providers. However, such information may be stored by payment service providers. If the Customer's credit card or payment method is rejected when not returning boxes or cups after 240 hours, the Customer must verify that the information entered is correct. If the Customer has corrected the error and the credit card is still rejected, kleen hub recommends that the Customer contact his bank.
By accepting these Terms, the Customer accepts the payment method described above and acknowledges and accepts that kleen hub is not responsible or liable to the Customer in relation to the above.
10. Limitation of Liability
Kleen hub shall not be liable for any loss incurred as a result of or in connection with (i) any circumstances for which a partner is liable under the Agreement, (ii) any third party failure or through unforeseeable interruption of the availability of the App ); (iii) Borrow orders from Customers made using fraudulently obtained payment data or other contractual data (eg "phishing" of credit card data, identity theft, etc.) and kleen hub is not responsible for Customer's non-payment; (iv) content of websites to which the platform links, including the accuracy of the linked sites and the data protection at such site; and (v) similar events as set out in (i) - (iv).
Kleen hub shall not be liable for errors or non-compliance with services if such failure is due to matters beyond kleen hub's control. Such conditions include, but are not limited to, disruptions in the operation of the kleen hub as a result of legislation, government or governmental actions, acts of war, terrorism, strikes, physical blockades, lockouts and natural disasters.
